Getting a second chance after cheating is a rare thing. It's important that you make the most of your second chance so that you don't end up only prolonging the inevitable and ending right back where you are not at some point in the future.

1) Make plans for the future. You need to sit down together and make long and short term plans for your relationship. Set goals and create a plan of action for achieving those goals. More importantly, pointing out each others strengths will strengthen the relationship while pointing out each others flaws will tear it apart. You want to build your relationship with this second chance and not tear it down.

4) Learn to talk about problems rather than allowing them to fester. More importantly, learn how to discuss them without accusations and laying blame. You need to learn to talk to one another in a way that allows you to separate the deed that causes an issue from your spouse as a person. In other words, learn to argue productively.
