We've been having problems for a long time. I've finally figured out my role in these problems but now she's walked out. Is it too late to save my relationship now that she's finally given up and left or is there still hope for the two of us to work things out? This is one of the hardest questions for some people to face. It feels as though you've had that pivotal breakthrough that can change everything seconds after the buzzer sounded and the most important game of your life was lost right at the finish line.
In some cases this may be the most important game of your life. But it isn't lost – at least not yet. There is still hope that you can convince her to give you one more chance but there are a few things you might want to do before you go through the effort of winning her back and getting that second chance.
1) Practice the new you before you introduce him to her. Try this new attitude on and wear it around for a while. See how it fits and if there are adjustments that need to be made. Make sure you can sustain it so that it isn't just a temporary solution that is going to lead you right back to where you are now in the future. Remember, second chances are rare enough. Most couples never make it to three or four.
2) Make every minute of the time you're apart count for your efforts to unveil a whole new you to her. While you want to retain the core of who you are and still be the man she fell in love with there are sure to be a few things about you that you know drove her nuts about you. If you want to
get your ex back a few changes are necessary. See what you can do to "spruce" up your image so that you can bring your "A" game to the court when you get your second chance.
3) Writer her a nice long letter of apology. This is something you want to sit down and write by hand. Once you've made the letter perfect and reread it to make sure there is nothing in it that can be misread or misinterpreted you should drop the letter in the mail. Your letter is likely to strike a chord and get the conversation started.
But don't do any of these effective steps to try
getting your ex back until you've learned the exact words you need to say in your apology letter to get results this time around.
